Fox’s X-Force spin-off movie set to commence production in October.
With the hotly anticipated Deadpool sequel due for release in May, it appears that 20th Century Fox aren’t afraid of it not matching the huge success of the original, with reports now emerging that the spin off movie, X-Force is due to start production in October 2018.
According to the movie production site Publisher’s Weekly, X-Force will start filming in October and see the return of both Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Josh Brolin as Cable. According to the report it will also be written and directed by Drew Goddard and have Ryan Reynolds, Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner on board as producers.
Deadpool 2 has already teased the introduction of X-Force in its latest trailer and it appears that Fox are keen to keep the momentum going with the wisecracking Merc with the mouth spearheading his own franchise.
A release date for X-Force has yet to be confirmed.
