Joe Wright’s The Woman In The Window, starring Amy Adams, gets 2019 release.
Joe Wright will follow up 2017’s Darkest Hour with an adaptation of A.J. Finn’s bestselling novel The Woman in the Window, which will star Amy Adams and hit theaters October 4th 2019.
The psychological thriller is written by Tracy Letts, and follows Adams as a woman living in her New York apartment as a recluse incapable of leaving her home. When a family moves into the apartment across the road, she witnesses something that upends her quiet existence.
Most recently, Adams starred in Arrival and Nocturnal Animals in 2016, followed by a supporting role in Justice League in 2017. One of the finest actresses currently working, Adams will be next seen in Backseat, a biographical drama starring Christian Bale and directed by Adam McKay (The Big Short), out December 14th.
