Kingsman director Matthew Vaughn wants to direct Man Of Steel 2.
With only days to go before his Kingsman sequel hits cinemas, director Matthew Vaughn has been talking about his plans for the future at the recent press junket for Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle and it appears that as well as a third film in the series, the director is also interested in the Superman sequel, Man of Steel 2;
“I am planning another Kingsman, I’ve written the treatment and some of the scenes…I don’t know what I’m going to do next but I have had chats about Superman. I love Superman.”
Vaughn has already had success with the Superhero genre and was the man behind both Kick-Ass films as well as X-Men: First Class and it appears he wants to actively be involved in more franchises;
“If somebody asks me to do Indiana Jones, most of the superheroes or Star Wars the fanboy in me can’t help but be excited.”
Here at Film ’89 Towers, we’re excited to see the Kingsman follow up and would welcome Vaughn’s take on Superman too.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle opens in U.K. Cinemas on September 20th and the day after in the US.
