Noah Taylor to join The Rock in Skyscraper.
English-Australian actor Noah Taylor is said to have joined the cast of Legendary Pictures’ upcoming feature film “Skyscraper” starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Variety states the synopsis of the film is as follows;
“Johnson stars as a former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and war veteran who now assesses security for skyscrapers. On assignment in China, he finds the tallest, safest building in the world suddenly ablaze, and he’s been framed for it. A wanted man on the run, he must find those responsible, clear his name, and somehow rescue his family who are trapped inside the building above the fire line.”
Director Rawson Marshall Thurber will helm the picture having previously worked with Johnson, alongside Kevin Hart on 2016’s comic caper Central Intelligence. Johnson’s production company Seven Bucks Productions will co-produce the feature along with Beau Flynn via his FlynnPictureCo and Thurber. Dany and Hiram Garcia are executive producing and Wendy Jacobson is co-producing.
Taylor was recently seen playing Adolf Hitler in the AMC series Preacher and he has also scored parts in Game of Thrones and Peaky Blinders. His film credits include the Tom Cruise sci-fi movie Edge of Tomorro and Cameron Crowe’s Almost Famous.
