Ron Howard Tweets intriguing on-set picture from his Han Solo movie.
Ron Howard has been leaving little breadcrumbs on Twitter about his upcoming Han Solo prequel movie. Previously his tweets have been quite vague but this latest one is a little more revealing. The director, who has recently taken over the reigns after the departure of Phil Lord and Chris Miller, had fans scratching their heads with his cryptic Twitter post with the tag line,
“The Empire Looms Large”
What’s puzzling about this is the helmet shown appears to be a Death Star Commander’s helmet and it’s perhaps not a stretch to assume that the control panel passes more than a slight resemblance to those seen in the Death Star. The main question here is that surely the Death Star wasn’t in operational during the time period in which the film is set? One theory is that it shows the Death Star in the early phases of construction and could perhaps tie in to the most recent Star Wars movie, Rogue One. If that proves to be the case then this new movie will be a prequel to a prequel!
We’re confused and are going for a little lie down.
